It Is Snowing Today

The weather in Ireland can be variable but for your summer holidays here there is a predictable range of temperatures from 12 deg C to about 24 deg C.  However today in February we are having unseasonal snow that if you are from the US on holidays here you will smile at.  Why?  Because our traffic system grounds to a halt.

People slow donw considerably (a good safety precaution of course) and in most cases this causes grid lock on our roads.

However any person who holidays here during winter and early spring should not have any issues as usually the weather has cleared up by the time they rsie from their hotel room or bed and breakfast the weather should have cleared up.  At the moment there are some great deals in hotels and bed and breakfasts so you will at least be smiling when you rsie from your bed!!
